“He came to me today this morning. He apologized to me and the team. And He said he was ready to do his best for the team until we find a solution and make a decision.”

“This is how he has to do it. We are professionals, the club pays the salary. Which means I have to come here with the power to help until the last day.”

“We can make mistakes in life. I’ve made some too,” Pereira added.

“We have to give him a chance to show it through his actions, not his words.”

“I believe he speaks from his heart and he will try. I am here to see if he can do it. If he can help, then it’s okay. But if he can’t, then I will choose someone else who is dedicated.”

“Mario has quality, he can strengthen us in midfield. He has technical quality, it depends on his mentality. I hope he can help us until the end of the season or the end of this month.”
